Final Round of the Student Tour Guide Skills Competition for the 2025–2026 Academic Year

On the evening of December 22, 2025, at Vu Dinh Lien Hall, the Final Round of the Student Tour Guide Skills Competition for the 2025–2026 academic year took place in a lively and energetic atmosphere, attracting a large number of students to attend and cheer for the contestants.

The event was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Le Kim Anh, Vice President of the University, representatives from academic faculties and functional offices, members of the judging panel, invited guests, competing teams, and a large audience of interested students.

In her opening speech, Vice President Ha Le Kim Anh emphasized the practical significance of the competition, highlighting it as a valuable opportunity for students to strengthen professional knowledge, foster creativity, and experience a professional tour guiding environment. She expressed her hope that the performances in the Final Round would bring fresh experiences and memorable impressions, while also inspiring students to pursue their dreams in the tourism industry.

Beyond being an academic competition, the event served as a journey of self-discovery, student community engagement, and long-term career inspiration. It provided a meaningful platform for young people passionate about tourism to tell their own stories through presentation skills and creative expression, carrying with them a strong enthusiasm for the tour guiding profession. This season, the competition attracted nearly 200 applications from ULIS students, clearly demonstrating the growing appeal and development potential of the tourism field within the University community.

During the Final Round, the competing teams took part in two main rounds: Round 1 – Knowledge, and Round 2 – Presentation. These rounds not only assessed professional competence but also reflected each team’s creativity, situational adaptability, and professional demeanor.

At the conclusion of the competition, the Organizing Committee presented awards to teams with outstanding performances. First Prize was awarded to Dáng nón tam chuông, Second Prize went to Triple Muse for their presentation on Đông Hồ Folk Paintings. Third Prize was claimed by Chị em Di sản Consolation Prizes were awarded to làng Lụa Vạn Phúc and Làng rối nước Đào Thục. In addition, the Organizing Committee presented the “Most Favorite Video” Award to contestant Nguyễn Hồng Phúc, recognizing his commendable effort and creativity in storytelling within the tourism context.

At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee presented bouquets of flowers to the members of the judging panel as a gesture of gratitude for their presence, professional insights, and valuable contributions to the success of the competition.

The Final Round concluded in an atmosphere filled with excitement and inspiration, spreading a strong sense of pride among the competing teams and receiving enthusiastic support from the audience. The competition left a lasting impression and opened new expectations for the academic and professional journeys of ULIS students in the future.
