Announcement No. 02 on the Organization of the International Conference “Teaching and Researching Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Languages and Cultures”
Following the success of the 2025 International Scientific Conference “Teaching and Researching Vietnamese, Southeast Asian, and West Asian Languages and Cultures,” the University of Languages and International Studies (ULIS), Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) is organizing the 2026 International Scientific Conference “Teaching and Researching Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Languages and Cultures.” The conference aims to promote academic exchange and facilitate the sharing of research and teaching experiences among lecturers, teachers, and scholars from institutions specializing in the teaching and research of Vietnamese and Southeast Asian languages and cultures, both in Vietnam and abroad.
The conference will also serve as a forum for scholars and researchers to present pioneering research and applications, as well as discuss emerging trends in the teaching and research of Vietnamese and Southeast Asian languages and cultures.
The conference is organized as part of the National Conference on Foreign Language, Language, and International Studies Research and Teaching (UNiC 2026).

6. Presentation Guidelines and Requirements
6.1. In-person presentations in parallel sessions: Each presentation will last approximately 15 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of discussion.
6.2. Presentation slides: Presenters are requested to prepare their presentation slides using Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 or 2016 for presentation at the conference.
7. Conference Registration
7.1. Conference registration fee: Free of charge
7.2. Delegates are requested to register with the Organizing Committee by October 3, 2026 via the following link:

7.3. Presenters and delegates who are staff, lecturers, or students of the University of Languages and International Studies – VNU are requested to select the in-person participation option when registering.
8. Conference Proceedings
8.1. Abstract Proceedings
A digital volume of abstracts will be provided to conference participants and presenters at the conference.
8.2. Full-text Proceedings
The full-text proceedings will be published in digital format with an ISBN issued by Vietnam National University Press, Hanoi. The Organizing Committee will announce the expected publication date after receiving approval from Vietnam National University Press, Hanoi. Presenters whose full papers are published in the proceedings and who wish to receive a certificate of publication are requested to contact the Organizing Committee.
