Lively Atmosphere at the 13th Presentation Contest “Exploring Asian Communities”

On December 17, 2025, the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS) organized the “Exploring Asian Communities” Presentation Contest for the second semester of the academic year 2025–2026. This was the 13th time the contest had been held and was part of the course Exploring Asian Communities, taught by the Faculty of Vietnamese Language and Culture and Southeast Asian Studies.

Attending the event were Dr. Trần Hữu Trí, Dean of the Faculty of Vietnamese Language and Culture and Southeast Asian Studies; Ms. Lê An Na, CEO and Founder of the Vietnamese Poise and Etiquette Academy (PAVI); representatives of leadership units, members of the Judging Panel, lecturers, and a large number of interested students.

Before the official start of the program, the atmosphere in the hall was energized by impressive and engaging musical performances, which attracted attention and created a positive impression on the audience.

In his opening speech, Dr. Trần Hữu Trí, Dean of the Faculty of Vietnamese Language and Culture and Southeast Asian Studies, expressed his emotion and pride as the “Exploring Asian Communities” contest reached its 13th edition. He emphasized that through the course and the contest, students not only gain a meaningful academic platform but also have opportunities to conduct research, systemize knowledge, and create learning products with practical value that are recognized and highly appreciated by the University. On this occasion, the Dean sincerely expressed his gratitude to the students, lecturers, and both domestic and international speakers who have continuously shown interest, accompanied, and made positive contributions, helping to create the success and sustainable impact of the course as well as the contest.

Continuing the program, on behalf of the Judging Panel, Ms. Lê An Na, CEO and Founder of the Vietnamese Poise and Etiquette Academy (PAVI), presented in detail the rules and evaluation criteria of the final round of the “Exploring Asian Communities” Presentation Contest, enabling the competing teams to fully understand the requirements and confidently deliver their presentations.

After passing the preliminary round to advance to the final round, the six most outstanding teams officially competed in two parts: presentations and Q&A sessions. Here, the contestants not only demonstrated their extensive knowledge, passion, and the core values distilled during their research process, but also applied their public speaking skills and flexible critical thinking to persuade the Judging Panel and leave a strong impression on the audience.

After discussion and providing feedback to the teams, the Organizing Committee announced the final results as follows:

  • Group 1, Class 32 (Nguyễn Ánh Hồng, Nguyễn Ngọc Bảo Hân, Chu Đức Hiệp)
  • Group 2, Class 33 (Vũ Mạnh Cường, Phạm Văn Chiến, Trịnh Minh Thư)
  • Group 3, Class 30 (Nguyễn Lê Thái An, Nguyễn Hải Anh, Đào Nhật Tân)

The 13th “Exploring Asian Communities” Presentation Contest was successfully held and left a strong impression with its diverse, dynamic, and engaging topics. The contest served as a beneficial platform for both students and the audience.
